FILE REQUIREMENTS & SCREENING
Accepted file formats are STL, OBJ, 3MF, and STEP/STP, each subject to our current upload limits and manufacturing capabilities. The current public upload limit is 5MB per file. Files must be complete, readable, and suitable for additive manufacturing. Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, we do not repair, redesign, optimize, or modify customer files.
We may review files for corruption, basic printability, security concerns, policy violations, or obvious legal issues, but any review is limited and does not mean the design is approved, safe, accurate, lawful, or fit for your intended use.
We may reject or pause any order if a file is incomplete, unreadable, oversized, non-manifold where applicable, appears infringing or unlawful, or cannot be manufactured reliably using the process, material, or finish selected.
DESIGN RESPONSIBILITY & RESTRICTED USES
You are solely responsible for your model, specifications, and intended use, including dimensions, tolerances, fit, function, structural integrity, assembly, labeling, warnings, regulatory compliance, and suitability for the environment in which the part will be used.
Aiurion provides manufacturing services, not engineering or legal advice. Unless we expressly agree otherwise in a separate signed writing, we do not validate performance requirements, inspect for hidden design defects, or certify compliance with any industry, consumer, medical, automotive, aerospace, or governmental standard.
MATERIALS, TOLERANCES & ACCEPTANCE
Material and finish options are described in the configurator or quote. Because 3D printing is an additive manufacturing process, reasonable variation can occur in color, texture, sheen, layer lines, support marks, surface finish, and final dimensions.
Quoted tolerances, if any, apply only when expressly stated in writing for the specific order. If no written tolerance is stated, commercially reasonable variation for the selected process and material will be deemed acceptable.
You must inspect the order promptly after delivery or pickup and before further processing, assembly, installation, or resale. Any claim based on visible manufacturing nonconformity should be reported within 7 calendar days after receipt with the order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos.
PRODUCTION & FULFILLMENT
A properly completed order is an order for which we have received usable files, all information needed to manufacture and ship, and cleared payment or other approved payment authorization.
Production begins when we start manufacturing the first unit of the order after file review, order acceptance, and payment verification are complete.
Quoted turnaround times and shipping dates are estimates only. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to meet them, but they can change due to print failures, queue volume, material availability, machine downtime, order changes, verification delays, weather, or carrier delays.
If we expect a shipment delay after accepting a properly completed order, we may provide an updated estimated ship date and, where required by applicable law, offer the opportunity to consent to the delay or cancel the unshipped order for a refund.
CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
You may cancel an order for a full refund only if we receive the cancellation request before production begins.
After production begins, custom orders are generally non-cancellable, non-returnable, and non-refundable if they were manufactured substantially as ordered. This includes customized goods received as ordered, subject to any rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
We do not offer refunds, returns, or free reprints for issues caused by customer-supplied designs or instructions, including incorrect dimensions, poor fit, inadequate strength, unsupported geometry, missing tolerances, wrong material selection, or use in a prohibited or unsuitable application.
ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
You may not use the Service to produce items that are illegal, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or otherwise inconsistent with our policies or risk tolerance. The categories below are examples only, not an exhaustive list.
We may reject, cancel, or refuse to ship any order at any time before shipment if we believe the order is prohibited, unsafe, non-compliant, or likely to expose us to unreasonable legal, operational, or reputational risk.
