The refined finish does not add heat resistance or certify the part for structural, outdoor, or safety-critical use.

A tougher general-purpose material for functional parts that need more durability, moisture resistance, and heat margin than PLA.

Functional brackets, clips, housings, tools, field-test parts, evaluated outdoor accessories, and durable utility components.

APPLICATION LIMIT

PETG is not a high-temperature or safety-rated material. Final suitability still depends on load, geometry, UV duration, chemicals, and consequences of failure.

DECISION RULE

Choose PETG for tougher utility parts, repeated handling, moisture exposure, and a higher service-temperature margin.
