MATERIALS CATALOG

3D PRINTING MATERIALS FOR PROTOTYPES AND FUNCTIONAL PARTS

AIURION prints parts in PLA, Matte PLA, PETG Basic, and PETG HF. This catalog stays synchronized with the quote tool, so published colors and formulations reflect what customers can actually order.

MAT_01 AVAILABLE

PLA

Bambu Lab PLA Basic

A reliable rigid material for fast prototypes, fixtures, form studies, and controlled indoor parts.

Black
Red
Silver
BEST FOR

Fit checks, rigid brackets, covers, jigs, presentation models, assembly aids, and fast design iterations.

APPLICATION LIMIT

Use caution around sustained heat, outdoor exposure, repeated impact, long-term load, or safety-critical service.

DECISION RULE

Choose PLA when dimensional clarity, rigidity, surface quality, and fast iteration matter most.

Heat deflection 57 °C HDT at 0.45 MPa
Bending strength 76 MPa XY specimen
Impact strength 26.6 kJ/m² XY specimen
MAT_02 AVAILABLE

Matte PLA

Bambu Lab PLA Matte

An appearance-focused PLA with a subdued surface that reduces glare and makes layer lines less prominent.

Matte Black
BEST FOR

Visible housings, demo hardware, architectural models, display pieces, and presentation-ready prototypes.

APPLICATION LIMIT

The refined finish does not add heat resistance or certify the part for structural, outdoor, or safety-critical use.

DECISION RULE

Choose Matte PLA when presentation quality matters more than maximum mechanical performance.

Heat deflection 58 °C HDT at 0.45 MPa
Bending strength 53 ± 6 MPa XY specimen
Impact strength 19.2 ± 3.7 kJ/m² XY specimen
MAT_03 AVAILABLE

PETG Basic

Bambu Lab PETG Basic

A strong, tough general-purpose PETG for functional parts that need durability, moisture resistance, and more heat margin than PLA.

Orange
BEST FOR

Functional brackets, clips, housings, tools, field-test parts, evaluated outdoor accessories, and durable utility components where strength matters more than maximum print speed.

APPLICATION LIMIT

PETG Basic is not a high-temperature or safety-rated material. Final suitability still depends on load, geometry, UV duration, chemicals, and consequences of failure.

DECISION RULE

Choose PETG Basic when general-purpose strength and toughness matter more than maximum production throughput.

Heat deflection 71 °C HDT at 0.45 MPa
Bending strength 75 ± 3 MPa XY specimen
Impact strength 34.2 ± 4.1 kJ/m² XY specimen
MAT_04 AVAILABLE

PETG HF

Bambu Lab PETG HF

A high-flow PETG formulated for faster production, reliable printing, and a smooth, soft-matte surface.

White
Black
BEST FOR

Functional brackets, clips, housings, tools, field-test parts, and repeat orders where faster throughput and a consistent finish matter.

APPLICATION LIMIT

PETG HF prioritizes print speed and has different published mechanical values from PETG Basic. It is not a high-temperature or safety-rated material.

DECISION RULE

Choose PETG HF when faster production and a uniform soft-matte finish matter more than PETG Basic's higher published strength values.

Heat deflection 69 °C HDT at 0.45 MPa
Bending strength 64 ± 3 MPa XY specimen
Impact strength 31.5 ± 2.2 kJ/m² XY specimen

PART PERFORMANCE // WHAT THE DATA MEANS

MATERIAL DATA IS NOT THE SAME AS PART PERFORMANCE.

Published Bambu Lab values come from standardized test specimens, not your finished part. Actual strength, heat resistance, and durability depend on geometry, print orientation, layer adhesion, wall thickness, infill, assembly loads, and operating conditions. If a part’s failure could cause injury, equipment damage, or costly downtime, request a technical review before ordering.
